Introductions

Hello All you family snowmobiles. My family of 4 recently started snowmobiling. I searched for blogs out there about cool places to go with kids. Haven't found any so I thought I would start one. We have 2 girls ages 4 and 8. They sit on the back of our sleds. We have 2up touring sleds so they are pretty comfy. We live in Baldwinsville, ny. Since we have a trailer, we an go anywhere with the sleds. Sometimes my husband and I go out alone but mostly we have the kids with us.

We went to tug hill- montegue inn was our base. We did that trip without kids. Next we went to buffalos in Bville.  Not a great kid destination but we were following others. Then we tried rh's hideaway in Phoenix, ny. You can park there And catch a trail. Another's time we parked in Phoenix and rode a straight trail on the north shore of Oneida lake. Very bumpy.

Its now 2020. Since starting this blog (which was a pretty cool idea at the time), we have sold our snowmobiles. Even though we have a trailer and can take them where ever we want, I think we were just too lazy to do it. Also, I like to go at a moderate pace and take in the scenery. The husband (and everyone else on the trails apparently) want to go as fast as humanly possible. What do we get in exchange for the snowmobiles? Quads. Same story, different mode of transport. Trails seem to be tougher to find but we are newbies so it will probably get easier. I still like to slow down and take in the scenery!! I might start a blog on quads but they really aren't my favorite activity.
